Girl's Team Coach
Advice to students:
“Make goals and take baby steps to acheive them. Never let anyone tell you that your dreams are not possible, because if you can dream it you can do it!"
Originally from Michigan, Lindsey moved out here to attend college at ASU. She has been coaching for 8 years and our girl's gymnastics team levels 4-9 at USA for 6 years now. Lindsey did gymnastics for about 10 years when she was younger, competing through level 9. She says she loves coaching because "the girls are full of an incredibly contageous energy. They make me laugh everyday." What does she like about USA? "I get to work with my friends, and I really believe in the gym's kid-friendly philosophy."
Lindsey also works full-time as an enrollment counselor at the University of Phoenix Online. Because of this, she does not have a lot of free time, but when she does she likes to spend it with her friends, going on road trips or just hanging out. Her favorite quote, by Henry Ford is "whether you think you can or you think you can't, either way you are right." Lindsey's favorite movie is When Harry Met Sally, her favorite book is the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, and her heroes are her parents. Our favorite thing about Lindsey? She tells great stories, and makes us laugh all of the time. Next time you see her, ask her about her evil cat, Dory.
