Helene coaches our Girls Gymnastics Preteam and also a few level 1 recreational classes. She began her USA gymnastics career as a competitive gymnast on our AZ Illusions team coached by Kim and Lindsey, and has now been coaching for us for the last 3 years.
What keeps her at USA? She really likes the kids and the other coaches here. Helene says that she coaches because gymnastics teaches valuable life lessons and we think she is right! We love that she is able to pass those on to the kids that she coaches.
Born in Paris, France, Helene moved to Mesa with her family at age 3. She is currently a student as ASU, pursuing a double major in Bioengineering and French. In her free time, Helene enjoys playing the piano and the violin, scrapbooking, spending time with friends, and reading. Her favorite books are Harry Potter, The Pillars of the Earth, and Daddy Long Legs. Her favorite quote is “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” ~Eleanor Roosevelt
